Hello Second Grade Families!

I hope that everyone has a great break! 

I wanted to let you all know that yesterday I sent home materials for math games.  If your child stays with me for math or goes to Ms. Reed’s room he or she should be practicing their math skills by playing these games.

Please do not forget to have your child reading each day too!

Book Club order forms will be sent home at the end of each month.  The first one was sent home on Monday of this week and it is due back on Friday, September 30th.  Please be sure to include your payment for books you wish to order.  If you are writing a check, please make it out to:  Scholastic Book Clubs.

Every time you order books for your child from these book orders our class earns points that can be used to order more books for the classroom!  This helps our teacher build a bigger classroom library.

Also, if you place your order online, using the code listed on the Parent Letter, our class automatically earns a free book, in addition to the points for every dollar spent!

Hello All!
Thursday Folders went home with students today.  I included a reading log for the month of September.  Please help your child keep track of their daily reading on the calendar.  All students who return their calendar completed will recieve a small reward.

All students should be reading 20 minutes each night in order to support growth in reading.

You will be able to download another copy of the reading log below should it end up lost.
