Hello Second Grade Families!

I hope that everyone has a great break! 

I wanted to let you all know that yesterday I sent home materials for math games.  If your child stays with me for math or goes to Ms. Reed’s room he or she should be practicing their math skills by playing these games.

Please do not forget to have your child reading each day too!

Thank you so much to everyone who donated to my project. I am truly overwhelmed by the generosity of parents and families! I cannot thank you enough for your support of my efforts in the classroom.

Since I have had such great luck, I have posted another project.

Our classroom is in need of new dictionaries to replace some that are really too advanced for second graders and were published in 1979. I already have a donation to apply to this new project.

Hello Parents!

Ms. Reed and I are looking for volunteers who would be willing to help out with a holiday project.  There is prep work that we could really use some help doing and if anyone would like to come on Friday around 11:00am, you are welcome to join us.

We will also be having a little fun in the afternoon on Friday, from 2:00-2:45pm!  If anyone would like to bring a treat for the class to share just let me know.  Parents are also welcome to join us at this time.

I am working to get a project funded.  Please view my project at DonorsChoose.org using the link below and if you like my project and are able please donate to help me get funded.

Right NOW and for the rest of the week at least...if you make a donation to my project, your donation will be matched!!!  A donation NOW would help me get funded more quickly.

• Donors must enter SPARK during check-out where it says "I have a gift or match code" - and voila! The donation is automatically doubled.
• If you don't have a project listed, friends and family can still send you a DonorsChoose.org gift card - we'll match the gift card and send you double the funds!
• Some restrictions apply for the match code, so read the full details on our website.

I know money can be tight during the holidays, but if you could donate just $5 this week then that would be $10 for my project!
