Hello All!
Thursday Folders went home with students today.  I included a reading log for the month of September.  Please help your child keep track of their daily reading on the calendar.  All students who return their calendar completed will recieve a small reward.

All students should be reading 20 minutes each night in order to support growth in reading.

You will be able to download another copy of the reading log below should it end up lost.

We began our spelling lessons today!  This week we will have a test, however it will not count for or against your child's grade.

Please help your child access the spelling games at:  www.spellingcity.com
Look for usenames and passwords to be sent home in Thursday Folders, along with an informational letter.

This is a place where child can play spelling games focused on the words from their spelling list.

Thank you for allowing me to share with you, at Back to School Night.  I greatly enjoyed meeting all of you!  I am looking forward to helping your children learn this school year.  Please do not hesitate to contact me, if there is anything that I can do for you.

If you were unable to attend Back to School Night, I will send informational packets home with your children, in their Thursday Folders.  There are two forms I need filled out and signed by a parent, so if possible, please stop by the classroom to take care of this sometime during the first few days of school.  I appreciate your help in getting this taken care of as soon as possible!
